There is little cuter in life than baby clothes......except maybe handmade baby clothes (or the baby itself)!! For your own baby, a relative, friend or a baby shower gift, these cute patterns from Oh Me Oh My Sewing are simple and beginner-friendly. In this series of four evening classes, we will take students through making a pair of woven overalls, a pair of harem shorts or pants, and a burp cloth! 

Woven overalls:
This pattern is suitable for beginner sewists and runs from size 0-3 months all the way through 5-6 years. With a pocket detail on the front and snap closures on the straps students can choose between making pants or shorts. Recommended fabrics are quilting cotton, batiste, poplin or other stable light-medium weight fabrics. We made our sample out of Figo Fabrics Desert Wilderness fabric available here

Required Materials:
- (1) PDF pattern from Oh Me Oh My Sewing available here
- yardage dependent on the size being made and length of pant (please refer to the pattern)
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
- (snaps will be provided) 

Woven Harem Pants & Shorts:
The Woven Harem Pants and Shorts Pattern is a basic bottom with a simple elastic waist. This pattern includes variations for pants and shorts. They can both be made with or without cuffs. You can also add pockets and or a faux drawstring. There are so many possibilities with these lovely little bottoms! The pattern runs 0-3m through 5-6 years. We made our pair out of Art Gallery Fabrics Lilliput Twinkle Twinkle Evergreen, available here

Required Materials:

- yardage dependent on the size being made and length of pant (please refer to the pattern)
- 3/4" elastic - length dependent on size being made (please refer to the pattern)

Burp Cloth:
- 1/2 yd of quilting cotton

Required Tools:
- Fabric scissors
- Pins and/or wonder clips
- seam ripper
- chalk or friction pen
- detail scissors
