bag series: ferris fanny pack

Join Abbie for a fun Saturday in March to make one of our favorite bag patterns, Ferris Bag by Sallie Tomato.

This super functional fanny pack with a front zipper pocket, a zipper top closure and adjustable strap, can be worn in so many ways!

Available in three sizes! The opportunities are endless.

Finished sizes:
Small size: 12" wide 5" high
Medium size: 15" wide 7" high
Large size: 19" wide 9" high 

Students must come to class with their fabric pieces already cut out.  If you need assistance with cutting, please register for the Friday night cutting session prior to your class, register here. 


Required Materials (the below list is for the small size, other size requirements are as identified on the back of the pattern):
- Sallie Tomato Ferris Fanny Pack pattern available here
- Exterior fabric 1/3 yard (42" wide), recommended fabrics are quilt cotton, canvas, denim or linen. 
- Lining fabric 1/3 yard (42" wide), quilting cotton or linen
- Fusible Fleece 1/3 yard (44" wide), available here 
- Ferris Hardware Kit - LST133x - kit includes (2) 1-1/2" o-rings, (2) swivel hooks, and (1) 1" slide buckle, available here.
- (1) 6" zipper, and (1) 8" zipper available here


Required Tools
- Tape Measure
- Rotary Cutter and Acrylic Ruler OR Fabric scissors
- Pins and/or wonder clips 
- seam ripper

Cancellation Policy:

If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
