quilting series: meadowland quilt
Come and join us to make this beautiful quilt by then came june. This pattern is a great beginner-friendly, block based pattern that can be made with fat quarters or 1/2 yards. The series will consist of six classes taking you from cutting your pieces through to quilt top construction. Students should leave the class with a completed small throw-size quilt top ready for basting and quilting, however, students may need to complete homework depending on the progress or size of quilt they intend to make within the class. The quilt in the picture is a large throw size quilt.
Required materials (for small throw quilt, additional yardage needed for larger sizes):
- Meadowland quilt pattern available here
- (9) fat quarters or (5) 1/2 yds quilting cotton in print or solid fabrics
- 2/3 yds background fabric quilting cotton
Additional material for the backing, binding and batting will also need to be purchased to complete the quilt.
Required tools:
- Rotary Cutter and Acrylic Ruler
- Pins
- seam ripper
- chalk or friction pen
- detail scissors
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, you may receive a refund or credit for a future class ONLY if we are notified in writing via email at least 72 hours prior to the first class AND we are able to fill your spot. No other refunds or credits will be given for missed classes. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
