megan's favorite apron

This is our owner Megan Whitney's favorite apron pattern ever, and now she's showing you how to make it!  She loves this apron because it is so flattering and so fun to make.  You can use up to three different fabrics, allowing you to mix and match some favorite prints - choosing your fabrics is the best part!  (Sample was made with two coordinating prints).

This pattern includes adult AND kid sizes starting at size 4.  Make one for yourself, then make 'em for your whole family or anyone on your holiday gift list.

You MUST arrive to class with all of your fabrics cut out beforehand. Please note that there is rotary cutting involved (including cutting bias strips) in addition to using pattern pieces. If you are not confident doing this on your own, and prefer to cut your fabric under the supervision of an instructor, you can register for our Cutting Session which will be held a week prior to this class, on November 30th.  Register for the cutting session here:  Cutting Session
Required Materials:

- Mother Daughter Aprons pattern by Taylor Made Designs (available here) 
- (2) or (3) coordinating prints - quantities vary depending on how many fabrics you are using and what size you are making.  Our staff is happy to help you pick fabrics and/or determine the yardage you need!
- (1) spool of thread

You will also need a small length of 1/2" elastic - this will be provided to you during class.
