quilting series: 'love you more' quilted pillow
Make this sweet pillow full of X's and O's for your favorite loved one this Valentine's Day! This pillow is constructed with Half-Square Triangles (HSTs) made from pairs of strips sewn together. This is a time-saving method for constructing HSTs, made even faster and more accurate with the Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer tool by New Leaf Stitches. Join our quilting instructor, Pat, in the studio this January for a 4-week morning session to learn how to use this tool and to make your own Love You More pillow.
Finished Pillow Dimensions: 18" x 18.
This class is suitable for advanced beginner students who have taken our Quilting 101 class or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine and should be comfortable with using a rotary cutter.
Required Materials:
- (1) Project Kit: Love You More Pillow by Studio M Squared (pattern, fabric, muslin + batting included!)
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:
- (1) Pattern: Love You More by Studio M Squared
- X+O Prints: (1) 5" charm pack or (26) 5" squares
- 3/8 yd background fabric
- 5/8 yd backing fabric (must be 44" wide)
- 1/4 yd binding fabric
- 5/8 yd muslin
- (1) 22" x 44" piece of batting
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Required Tools:
- Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer tool (A)
- rotary cutter
- acrylic ruler
- pins and/or clips
- seam ripper
- chalk or frixion pen

If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
