garment series: the marlo sweater

With the cooler weather headed our way, it's time to update your handmade wardrobe! Join Erin in the studio this November to make the Marlo Sweater by True Bias. We're offering an all-day Saturday session in November, or a 3-week morning session starting in December - choose the session that works best for you!
The Marlo is an oversized sweater with a dropped shoulder, deep V-neck, wide bands and large buttons. The pattern offers two views - View A is a cropped length sweater, while View B has patch pockets and hits around mid-thigh. Students have the option of making either version in class.
During this series, students will practice sewing with knit fabrics and sewing with buttons. This class is ideal for advanced beginner to intermediate level students. Students must have prior garment sewing experience in order to register for this class - ideally, you have taken our Garment 101 class or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Marlo Sweater by True Bias - available in Sizes 0-18 or Curve Sizes 14-30
