Our Beechwood Bag class is back... and now with a new mini size! Join Andrea in the studio this August for a fun "Sunday Sew-Day". Just grab two fun fabric prints, a pair of bamboo handles, and in just a few hours you’ll have a great handbag for any outing!
Designed by our in-house brand, Studio M Squared, we bring you this cute, simple and unique bamboo handle bag. This bag is all about the blousy bottom and the fun bamboo handle. Beechwood is available in two sizes - the new mini size is a gorgeous evening accessory, or the large size is a stylish shopping bag and is even large enough for a towel, book and suncream to lounge at the pool.
Students can either make the small or large bag in class. This class is suitable for confident to advanced beginner sewists who have completed our Sewing 101 class or have a similar level of experience.
Required Materials: Small Bag

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:
- (1) Pattern: Beechwood Bag by Studio M Squared
- exterior fabric: 1/2 yd of quilting cotton
- lining fabric: 1/2 yd of quilting cotton
- 7/8 yd of Pellon 911F fusible interfacing
- (1) pair of 5" bamboo handles
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Required Materials: Large Bag

- exterior fabric: 5/8 yd of quilting cotton
- lining fabric: 5/8 yd of quilting cotton
- 1-1/4 yd of Pellon 911F fusible interfacing
- (1) pair of 7" bamboo handles
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pins and/or wonder clips
- seam ripper
- chalk or frixion pen
- detail scissors
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
