sewing 201: table talk runner + placemats

Come and join us this August to make your own custom table runner and set of four reversible placemats for decorating your dining table for the upcoming fall holidays or to simply update your seasonal decor.   In this class, students will practice accurate rotary cutting skills, learn how to make mitered corners, and get comfortable using a walking foot on the sewing machine.

This class is suitable for advanced beginner sewists who have completed a Sewing 101 class (or at a similar skill level) and have successfully completed a few projects.

Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Table Talk by Studio M Squared
- (1) Project Kit: Table Talk

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:

- (1) Pattern: Table Talk by Studio M Squared
- 1-5/8 yd main fabric (center of runner and one side of placemats)
- 1-5/8 yd accent fabric (border of runner and second side of placemats) 
- 2-7/8 yd medium weight sew-in interfacing (Pellon 910)
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Recommended Fabrics:
Please choose quilting cotton, linen blends or similar weight fabric for both the main and accent fabrics.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.

No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
