quilting 201 series: four block journey

Build on your basic quilting skills with this four-block sampler. You’ll get tons of cutting, piecing and pressing practice as you construct four traditional blocks with half-square triangles, flying geese, economy blocks, four patches, and snowball units. Learn the proper way to cut, piece, trim and press these units for perfectly aligned seams. Then, you'll assemble the completed blocks with sashing and cornerstones in between to create a mini-quilt that shows how much you’ve learned!
The first class will consist of cutting your fabrics and getting ready to start piecing. Then each remaining week you'll learn how to make the units needed for one of the four blocks and assemble them into a show-stopping 12-1/2" block. Students will only make the quilt top in this class; we will not be quilting or binding the finished piece.
This 5-week class is suitable for confident beginner quilting students who have taken our Quilting 101 class or have an equivalent experience level and knowledge of basic quilting.
