pop-up workshop: screenprinting with scott porcelli

We're SO excited to offer a brand-new workshop to our community of creatives! Join guest instructor and artist, Scott Porcelli, for a fun screen-printing workshop on Sunday, April 6th.
During this 3-hour workshop, Scott will teach you the fundamentals of screen-printing. Students will create their own design, cut it out on a stencil, and then custom print it on any item of your choice. Students must bring their own fabric or item on which to print with them - items such as tea towels, cloth napkins, tote bags, a simple garment, or even just a fat quarter are great options! All other screen-printing materials and tools will be provided in class.
Come to class with an idea of what you'd like to screen print (image, logo, drawing, phrase, etc.). Students will spend the first hour of class using their idea to plan and finalize their final design. Please note: The screens are 8"x10", so the maximum largest printable area on your fabric/garment/etc. is 7"x9".
Get creative, get crafty, and most importantly HAVE FUN! We can't wait to see what you will make!!!
