bag series: birdie sling

Join us for a 2-week session to make the fabulous Birdie Sling by Amy Butler! This modern sling bag is perfect for advanced beginner to intermediate level sewists. It's great for large, vibrant prints that just need to be shown off! We're offering a morning session in March and an evening session in May - choose which works best for you! Note: for the evening session in May, there will be a 1-week break in between classes.
This bag is great for everyday use - it's large enough to use for a pool or beach day, easily storing your towel, favorite book and water bottle. Or bring it with you on your daily errands like visiting the farmer's market or grocery store.
This class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate level students. Prior bag making experience is recommended; ideally, students will have successfully sewn at least one bag to completion prior to attending this class. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
Finished Size: 28" tall (including handles) x 18" wide.
