quilting series: penny quilt

Hey quilters! Are you looking for a beginner-friendly quilt to build on your skill set?  Graduated Quilting 101 and ready for the next step? We've got the perfect class for you! Join Nancy in the studio for a 5-week evening class to make the Penny Quilt by Kitchen Table Quilting.

The Penny Quilt Pattern packs a big punch and sews together more quickly than you might think. This pattern is very versatile and works with lots of different fabrics, but it is especially fun for bright prints. If you are using larger scale prints, mix in small scale prints and or solids to make it pop. The pattern offers four quilt sizes, ranging from a Baby Size (37"x37") to a Twin Size (74"x92").

During this 5-week class, students will practice their rotary cutting, piecing and assembling skills. This class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate level students who have taken our Quilting 101 class.  Students must be able to thread and operate a sewing machine independently and should have experience using a rotary cutter.

Please note, we will only be making the quilt top in class, leaving students to finish the remainder of the quilting assembly on their own.
