sewing series: cozy winter throw
Make a quick, easy handmade gift this holiday season! This perfect throw blanket with flannel on one side and minky on the other is comfy AND cute.
In this 2.5-hour class, students can make either the small or large throw blanket using flannel and minky fabrics. This class is suitable for beginner level students who can independently thread and operate a sewing machine.
Finished dimensions of small throw: 42" x 50"; large throw: 56" x 56".
Required Materials:
- (1) Instruction Handout: Cozy Winter Throw Blanket - will be provided to you in class
- Fabric for Small Throw (42" x 50"):
- 44" wide flannel: 1-1/2 yds
- 60" wide Fireside Minky: 1-1/4 yds
- (1) spool of thread
- Fabric for Large Throw (56" x 56"):
- 59" wide flannel: 1-2/3 yds
- 60" wide Fireside Minky: 1-2/3 yds
- (1) spool of thread
Required Tools:
- rotary cutter
- acrylic ruler
- pins or clips
- chalk or frixion marker
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
