festive freebie: fringed and festive tree pillow

This holiday season, as our gift to you – our amazing, loyal customers – we’re doing a series of fun, FREE classes.  These classes will help you get in the holiday spirit and create some amazing handmade gifts + decor!!! 

"Spruce" up your winter decor this season and learn how to make these fringed + festive tree pillows just in time for the holidays! In this 2-hour class, students will make (1) pillow and will leave with the confidence and experience to make the second at home. Students can make either size pillow in class.

Finished Dimensions of Pillows:
- Small: 17" wide (at bottom) x 17" tall
- Large: 22" wide (at bottom) x 22" tall

Students must have taken our Sewing 101 class or have an equivalent beginner sewing experience level in order to register for this class.

Important Note: Please arrive to class on time and prepared with the required materials and tools needed for class - all which can be purchased directly in our shop. If you plan to shop for materials the day of class, please plan to arrive to the shop at least 15-20 minutes in advance to ensure you have enough time to purchase your materials. Students arriving late to class will not be permitted into the classroom.

Required Materials: (makes 2 pillows)
- (1) Project Kit: Fringed + Festive Trees - pattern, coordinating fabrics, and thread included!
- (1) 20 oz. bag of Polyfil stuffing

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:

- (1) Pattern: Fringed + Festive Trees by Studio M Squared
- 2/3 yard fabric for front
- 2/3 yard fabric for back
- (1) 20 oz. bag of Polyfil stuffing
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Recommended Fabrics:
- We recommend using flannel, quilting cotton, yarn-dyed linens, or other woven fabrics that fray.

Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pinking shears (optional)
- seam ripper
- pins or clips

Cancellation Policy:
While the event is free, you must register a seat in order to attend. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you notify us via email or by telephone so that we can fill your spot with someone on our waitlist - our freebie classes always have a waitlist!
