festive freebie: fringed and festive tree pillow

This holiday season, as our gift to you – our amazing, loyal customers – we’re doing a series of fun, FREE classes.  These classes will help you get in the holiday spirit and create some amazing handmade gifts + decor!!! We're offering both daytime and evening class times - choose which date works best for you!

"Spruce" up your winter decor this season and learn how to make these fringed + festive tree pillows just in time for the holidays! In this 2-hour class, students will make (1) pillow and will leave with the confidence and experience to make the second at home.  The finished dimensions of the small pillow are 17" wide (at bottom) and 17" tall, and the large size is 22" wide (at bottom) and 22" tall.  Students can make either size in class.

This class is suitable for beginner sewists who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have equivalent basic sewing machine experience.

Note:  All materials must be purchased in our shop to ensure you have the correct materials. Our staff is more than happy to help you with your fabric and material selections!

Required Materials: (makes 2 pillows)
- (1) Pattern: Fringed + Festive Trees by Studio M Squared
- pillow front fabric: 2/3 yd
- pillow back fabric: 2/3 yd
- (1) 20 oz. bag of Polyfil stuffing
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Recommended Fabrics:
- We recommend using flannel, quilting cotton, yarn-dyed linens, or other woven fabrics that fray.

Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pinking shears (optional)
- seam ripper
- pins or clips
