sip n' stitch: oxford wine tote
Grab a bottle of wine and some friends and join us for a fun night of stitchin' and sippin' as we make the Oxford Wine Tote, the newest bag pattern release by our in-house brand, Studio M Squared!
In this class we'll make the Oxford Wine Tote, a sturdy, lined wine bag. Just choose two fun, coordinating fabrics and some webbing and you're ready for a fun night of sewing! Students are welcomed to BYOB or BYOW to add to the fun!
Students may purchase a Wine Bag Project Kit, which includes the fabric and materials needed to make this project. If you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need to purchase the materials per the following list. If you plan to pick your own fabrics, please arrive at least 30 minutes before class begins.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Oxford Wine Tote by Studio M Squared
- exterior fabric: (1) FQ of quilting cotton
- lining fabric: 1/2 yd of canvas
- 2/3 yd of 1" wide webbing
- 1/2 yd of Pellon Decovil Light
Required Tools:
- rotary cutter or fabric scissors
- acrylic ruler
- chalk or frixion marker
- pins or clips
Please Note: This is NOT a learn-to-sew class. In order to take this class, students must have taken our Sewing 101 class or have similar basic experience (you must be able to independently operate a sewing machine). We reserve the right to turn away any student who cannot use a sewing machine independently.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
