Are you ready to make your new favorite PJ pants? Join us in the studio to make the Lila Lounge Pants by Monaluna! These easy-to-sew pants are so cozy and comfy that you'll never want to take them off. The contrasting cuff elevates the look, so that maybe you could even wear them out!
The Lila Lounge Pant is a comfortable wide-legged pull-on pant that features a relaxed fit, an elastic waistband with an optional ribbon drawstring, (optional) pockets, and slightly flared contrast bell panels for visual interest. Our our shop sample is made up in Monaluna's new fabric collection "Orchard & Grove" and we think it makes the cutest summertime garment!
This 3-week class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate students that have sewn at least one garment to completion. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
Important Notes:
- The pattern includes sizes XXS (36" hip, 26" waist) to 3XL (54" hip, 44" waist)
- As with all garment classes, we recommend that students prewash their fabric prior to attending class to reduce any shrinking of fabric.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Lila Lounge Pants by Monaluna (PDF download) **see pattern note below
- fabric - see notes below*
- 1" elastic: 1 yd for Sizes XXS-L; 1-1/2 yds for Sizes XL-3XL
- optional: 1 to 2 yds of 1" twill tape for waist tie
- optional: wash away wonder tape
- optional: scraps of lightweight interfacing to reinforce buttonholes
**PDF Pattern Note: Students must purchase and download the PDF pattern directly from Monaluna's website (linked here). Once the pattern has been downloaded, students must print out their pattern to scale and assemble their pattern together BEFORE attending class. There will be no time allotted in class for students to assemble their pieces together.
Recommended Fabric + Yardage*:
- Fabric Type: lightweight fabric, such as cotton, cotton lawn, or linen.
- Yardage: dependent on size of garment being made, please refer to the pattern. The pattern accommodates sizes XXS-3XL.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
