Join Erin this fall to make the Riley Overalls by True Bias!
The Riley pattern is a classic overall design with a relaxed fit and two lengths. View A is a shorts length with an approximate 6" inseam (4" rolled). View B is a classic full length with a straight fit through the leg and an approximate 28" inseam (26" rolled). Both Views have a front bib with patch pockets, rear patch pockets, belt loops, and a faux fly. Our shop sample features View B in a dark teal corduroy.
During class, students will work with bottom weight fabrics as they learn skills such as topstitching, sewing darts, making different types of pockets, installing garment hardware, and sewing faux fly. This 6-week class is suitable for intermediate to advanced students who have prior garment sewing experience. Please note, there is a 1-week break in between classes 4 and 5, and there may be homework assigned during this time to ensure students finish the garment on time in class.
