You are cordially invited to join us for Urban Sewciety's Summer Sewlympics 2024!
Start your training now.... limber up your crafty fingers and brush up on sewing trivia for our first ever Sewlympics! This is just a fun day of sewing related games and events with AMAZING prizes, food, beverages, and lots of laughs with fellow craft-minded friends. We've received dozens of prize donations from our favorite vendors including Riley Blake, National Nonwovens, Robert Kaufman, FreeSpirit Fabrics, Cloud 9 Fabrics, and more. Register now and secure your spot to show off your sewing skills and knowledge as we play some crazy, fun games designed by our staff.
Event Details:
We'll start off with an opening ceremony, and then dive right into a series of fun sewing events and games. Our staff will act as the judges for each event, and will keep a tally of each team's score. Games will include fun team sewing challenges, trivia, and more. Grand Prizes will be awarded to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winning teams. We'll end the day with an official closing ceremony!
Registration Details:
Participants can register solo or as a group. We will compete as teams of four.
- If you are registering solo, please sign up for (1) seat. If you do not have a team to join, we will assign you to one.
- If you are registering as a team, please sign up for (up to) 4 seats. In the "Attendee" section of registration, please include the names of the other participants on your team. If the team is not filled with 4 people, then we will assign solo participants to fill the teams accordingly. OR, you may sign up individually but let us know in the Attendee section who your teammates will be.
What's Included:
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be provided, as well as all materials needed for the games. Participants are encouraged to bring their party dish to add to the fun! There will be a special shop discount all day for participants as well.
What to Bring:
Please bring your sewing basket/bag with a good selection of your sewing tools with you. You'll need it for one of the games we have planned!

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
