quilting series: daisy mae table runner
Join Mandy in the studio this July to make the Daisy Mae Table Runner by Abby Maed. This joyful table runner is sure to brighten up your home with its fun floral motif.
The Daisy Mae is a block-based design inspired by sweet spring daisies and the cheer they bring. The pattern offers four views, including a mini block, baby blanket and throw blanket; in this class we will be making the table runner top, leaving students to finish the quilting process at home or during one of our Quilting Labs or Sewing WIP classes. The finished dimensions of the table runner are 16" x 66".
This class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate quilters who have taken our Quilting 101 or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

- fabric A (center of flower): 1/8 yd or (1) fat eighth
- fabric B (HST around the pistil): 1/4 yd or (1) fat quarter
- fabric C (flower petals): 1/2 yd
- fabric D (stem and leaves): 1/4 yd or (1) fat quarter
- background fabric: 3/4 yd
- binding fabric: 1/2 yd
- backing fabric: 1-1/3 yds
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
We have specially curated Project Kits that include all the fabric and batting needed to make the table runner, you will just need to purchase a spool of thread and the PDF pattern separately. Kits are available for purchase in our shop or on our website!
Recommended Fabric:
We suggest using quilting cotton for all fabric requirements. Quilting cottons are available to purchase directly in our shop!

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
