quilting series: paper lanterns table runner

Get a head start on your summer decor with this beautiful, fat quarter friendly Paper Lantern Table Runner by Sharon Holland Designs. This table runner will surely bring attention to any table setting with its modern design.  Students will learn how to work with cutting templates and how to achieve perfect points when working with triangular shapes.  Once you make this runner, you'll want to make one for every season!

All you'll need is eight fat quarters for the "background" and two fabrics for the "diamonds" to make this 21" wide x 69" long table runner. We'll start off the first class with a cutting and piecing session, leaving the remaining 2 classes for construction of the table runner.

This 3-week class is suitable for confident beginner to intermediate quilting students who have completed our Quilting 101 course or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently and should be familiar with using a rotary cutter.
