festive freebie: market bag

This holiday season, as our gift to you – our amazing, loyal customers – we’re doing a series of fun, FREE classes. These classes will help you get in the holiday spirit and create some amazing handmade gifts + decor!!!
This roomy, self-lined floppy market bag is made from folding fabric and only a few seams. You can easily fold the bag up small and store it away when not in use. It's great for use as a shopping bag for the local farmer market, small laundry items, or as a gift bag — and is so much fun to make! The finished dimensions of the bag are 14" high x 17" wide.
Finished Dimensions: 14" high x 17" wide
Students must have taken our Sewing 101 class or have an equivalent beginner sewing experience level in order to register for this class.
Important Note: Please arrive to class on time and prepared with the required materials and tools needed for class - all which can be purchased directly in our shop. If you plan to shop for materials the day of class, please plan to arrive to the shop at least 15-20 minutes in advance to ensure you have enough time to purchase your materials. Students arriving late to class will not be permitted into the classroom.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Market Bag by Sharon Holland Designs - will be provided to you in class
- 1-3/8 yds of quilting cotton for the body of the bag
- 1/8 yd of quilting cotton for handle of the bag
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Cancellation Policy:
While the event is free, you must register a seat in order to attend. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you notify us via email or by telephone so that we can fill your spot with someone on our waitlist - our freebie classes always have a waitlist!
