fun freebie: market bag

Come fill your night with some sewing fun in our studio to make the Market Bag by Sharon Holland Designs!
This roomy, self-lined floppy market bag is made from folding fabric and only a few seams. You can easily fold the bag up small and store it away when not in use. It's great for use as a shopping bag for the local farmer market, small laundry items, or as a gift bag — and is so much fun to make! The finished dimensions of the bag are 14" high x 17" wide.
This class is suitable for beginner level students, however, you must already know how to operate a sewing machine. This is NOT a learn-to-sew class for brand new beginners. If you have no sewing machine experience, you MUST take our Sewing 101 class before registering for this class.
Please Note: While the class itself is free, students will be required to purchase the materials for the class in our shop (see below for required materials)
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Market Bag by Sharon Holland Designs - will be provided to you in class
- 1-3/8 yds of quilting cotton for the body of the bag
- 1/8 yd of quilting cotton for handle of the bag
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

- fabric scissors
- pins
Cancellation Policy:
While the class is free, if you are unable to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can give your spot to another student. We always have a waitlist for free classes!
