garment series: the "completer"
Looking for a lightweight garment to throw over your jeans and tee? We've got the perfect garment class for you where you can make your very own in just two hours! Join us in the studio this August to sew up The Completer by our in-house brand Studio M Squared.
Believe it or not, this class is for newbies - it only looks complicated! Even if you're a beginner sewist, you just need to know the basics in order to make this simple, elegant garment. You'll get to make and wear this home in one evening, leaving you with the confidence to make more for all seasons of the year!
The Completer "completes" any outfit you will rock this year. Sew it up in a pretty floral or animal print for a more elegant look, or choose a more sheer fabric for a flowy beach cover up. The Completer works as an outfit-finisher for so many occasions, and features wide sleeves, a rounded front, and the perfect length for covering your "assets"!
The pattern offers three sizes: small/petite, regular, and large/extra-large (which fits up to a 54" bust measurement). We recommend using lightweight woven fabrics with good drape, such as rayon, linen/linen blends, cotton lawn, or crepe.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: The Completer by Studio M Squared - available in Paper Pattern or PDF Pattern
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
- fabric - 3 yds of 44" wide fabric or 2 yds of 50" wide fabric (or wider)
Fabric Note:
As with all garment classes, we recommend that you pre-wash your fabric before attending class to get out any fabric shrinkage before garment construction.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
