Are you ready to tackle garments with buttons and buttonholes? Are you fearful to try them on your own?
During this 2.5-hour masterclass, Erin will teach you all about buttons and buttonholes when it comes to garment sewing. The class will cover the following skills to help you advance your knowledge and expertise in making garments:
Buttons:
- types of buttons
- button placement
- hand sewing vs. machine sewing a button on
Buttonholes:
- types of buttonholes
- buttonhole sizing
- horizontal vs. vertical buttonholes
- buttonhole feet
- opening a buttonhole
This class is perfect for our Garment 101 grads or students who have prior garment sewing experience.
Required Materials + Tools:
All materials and tools will be provided for this class. You will leave class with button swatches, plus a handy reference guide.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
