fun freebie: basket bunch

It's a fun and FREE class!  Come fill your morning with some sewing fun in our studio.   Please note that while the class itself is free, students will be required to purchase the pattern and materials for the class in our shop (see below for required materials).

Join us to learn how to make some simple storage baskets for your home or office.  These baskets are constructed quite simply from just two squares of fabric and some clever folding and stitching.  The pattern includes instructions to make three different sizes, but once you know how to construct them you can make them in any size you like!  We'll be making the large basket in this class.  More experienced sewists may be able to make more than one during the class.

Important Note: This class is suitable for beginner level students; however, you must already know how to operate a sewing machine.  This is NOT a learn-to-sew class for brand new beginners.  If you have no sewing machine experience, please take our Sewing 101 class before registering for this class.

Required Materials:
- (1) Project Kit: Basket Bunch - this project kit includes the pattern and enough fabric + stabilizer to make (3) matching baskets (small, medium + large sizes)

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a project kit, you will need the following materials to make (1) large sized bag in class:

- (1) Pattern: Basket Bunch by Studio M Squared
- exterior fabric: 5/8 yd
- lining/accent fabric: 5/8 yd
- 5/8 yd of Pellon Decor Bond Stabilizer
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pins
