bag series: gingham tote

In need of a new cross-body bag for the Spring?  This is the one! Join our instructor, Erin for an all-day Saturday class where we'll be making the Gingham Tote by Anna Graham/Noodlehead.

This hardworking tote will be your go-to bag to bring wherever life takes you. The Gingham Tote features a ton of useful pockets, an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easy to carry, and short leather handles which are a convenient alternative to carrying it cross-body. In addition to the two pockets on the front, there is also a large slip pocket behind the zippered pockets and a large, divided slip pocket inside the fully lined bag.  Finished dimensions of the bag are 14" tall x 14" wide x 3" deep.

During class, students will learn how to sew with zippers, how to install rivets + magnetic snaps, and will work with leather straps. This class is suitable for intermediate students who have prior bag making experience. Students should be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

We are offering a cutting session on Friday, April 5th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM to help students prepare their fabric needed for class. Register your seat for the cutting session here. Students who are unable to attend the cutting session will be responsible for preparing and cutting their fabric on their own prior to the start of class.  If you choose not to attend the cutting session, you will need to arrive for class with all of your materials already cut out.
