bag series: the holland pouch

Meet The Holland Pouch by Center Street Quilts! The Holland Pouch is a quilted boxy pouch that is ideal for all your organizational needs.  The pattern offers three size options, each of which only uses three fat quarters of fabric, making it super easy to choose your materials. The quilted finish is a nice bonus for a luxurious look and feel, plus gives it added stability.

This class is suitable for confident beginner to intermediate sewists.  It's an ideal class for students who have taken our Simple Zipper Pouch class and are looking to make a more advanced bag.  Students must be able to confidently operate a sewing machine independently and be able to use a rotary cutter.

Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: The Holland Pouch by Center Street Quilts
- main fabric: fat quarter (for small, medium) or 1/3 yd (for large)
- lining fabric: fat quarter (for small, medium + large)
- accent fabric: fat quarter (for small, medium + large)
- fusible interfacing (Pellon Sf101): 10"x10" piece (for small, medium + large)
- Soft & Stable: small - 13"x17", medium - 15"x19", large - 17"x21"
- zipper: small: 16" or longer; medium: 18" or longer; large: 20" or longer

Required Tools:
- acrylic ruler + rotary cutter or fabric scissors
- seam ripper
- seam gauge
- chalk or frixion pen
- pins and/or clips

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
