garment series: hudson joggers

Who doesn't love a comfy sweatpant? Join us in the studio to whip up the super comfortable Hudson Jogger Pant by True Bias! The best part about this pant? It comes in adult womens' and mens' sizes as well as children sizes so you can make them for anyone in the fam!

The Hudson Jogger is an updated take on the classic sweatpant that you will want to wear all of the time. It is comfortable enough to wear around the house but can easily be dressed up to go run errands or grab a coffee with friends. The joggers feature front pockets, an elastic mid-rise waistband, drawstring, and cuffs. The modern fit of these pants leaves a bit of extra room around the hips and then tapers into a skinny leg. The pattern accommodates US sizes 0-18 and offers two views - View A is a full-length pant and View B is a midcalf pant.

During class, students will learn how to sew with knits, add grommets, and make automatic buttonholes. This class will start off with measuring and cutting to prepare the fabric, and then students will dive right into garment construction and sew it to completion. This class is suitable for advanced beginner students who have some prior basic garment sewing experience. Students must be able to operate a sewing machine independently.
