garment series: billie sweatshirt

Join us in the studio this January to make the cool, casual and modern Billie Sweatshirt by Tilly and the Buttons! The Billie is an ultra-comfy sweatshirt (or sweater dress). Dress Billie up or down for a meeting, dinner date or Sunday on the sofa.
The Billie features a relaxed shape, with a classic crew neckline and trim details. Keep it effortless with cuffed straight sleeves or add some drama with on-trend balloon sleeves and deep cuffs. Students can choose between the top length which sits on the high hip, or the mini dress which finishes 4" above the knee with cutaway pockets. The pattern accommodates sizes 2-20.
This class is suitable for confident beginner to intermediate students who have completed our Garment 101 program or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently operate a sewing machine independently.
