garment series: holiday pajama pants

Learn how to make your new favorite pair of comfy lounge pants - the Lenox Pajama Pants by our in-house brand, Studio M Squared! We're offering this class on both a Saturday and Sunday right before the holidays.

These are your basic everyday wear-around the house, elastic waistband pants, dressed up just a little with inseam pockets. The pattern has the choice of a low-rise and high-rise option so you can customize them to your liking. We suggest picking a warm flannel for those chilly winter nights This class will take you through the process step by step, once you make a pair you will then be able to whip up matching PJs for the rest of your crew!

This class is suitable for all experience levels, but students must be comfortable independently operating a sewing machine. Anyone without machine experience should first take our Sewing 101 class - learn to sew.  No garment sewing experience required.

Required Materials:
- (1) Lenox Pajamas Pattern by Studio M Squared
- (1) 1-1/4 yd package of 1" wide elastic
- (1) spool polyester thread
- WOVEN fabric only - see pattern for fabric requirements depending on the size you are making.  ABSOLUTELY NO KNIT FABRICS.  Our staff is more than happy to help you with your fabric selection!   Please purchase your fabric ahead of time, and pre-wash it before class.

Required Tools:
- fabric scissors
- pins and/or clips
- chalk or frixion pen
- clover hot press ruler, not required but highly recommended!

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
