Calling all slow stitch lovers... join us for our new Slow Stitch Sewcial club! We will meet every other Thursday morning to work on any knitting, crochet, embroidery or hand-binding work in progress projects. This is a fun way to meet your local community of fellow slow stitchers!
Slow stitching is a relatively new concept that incorporates old hand stitching traditions. Unlike stitching that is used to mend or make a garment, slow stitching is the act of using a needle and thread to create beautiful art, in a much slower process that allows you to be present. It is considered to be a great mindfulness activity!
The $15 registration fee reserves your spot at the knitting table where you can work on any slow stitch projects. Our talented instructor, Mandy, will be present to help you troubleshoot if needed, but no instruction will be provided. Students are required to bring in their own work in progress projects to class, as well as the materials and tools needed for the project. Feel free to shop in our store for any materials and tools, as our staff is happy to help with any selections! No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
