crochet 201: daisy pillow
Pillows make the perfect accent to any room and are the perfect cozy accessory for those chilly nights. Join us in the studio this winter to learn how to crochet the super modern and beautiful Daisy Crochet Pillow by Molla Mills. The pillow features four daisies on the front with a dramatic border around the corners. Get creative with the color of your yarn selections to really make the design pop!
The pillow is worked back and forth in single crochet stitches, carrying the other yarn inside the stitches throughout the work. The final measurements of the pillow are 15" wide and 15" tall. Students will learn tapestry crochet color work and learn how to read an alpha chart. This class is suitable for our crochet 101 graduates, or those with equivalent experience level.
The pattern comes from Molla Mill's Crochet Crush book. You are not required to purchase this book for this class, as we will provide the pattern and chart for students. However, if you are someone who frequently crochets, you may find this book to be of use!
Required Materials:
- 2 skeins of main color (white in the sample photo)
- 1 skein of accent color (black in the sample photo)
- pillow insert (14" or 15" - depending on gauge)

- crochet hook 7 (4.5mm)
- stitch marker
- tapestry needle
- fabric scissors
