crochet 201: gourdgeous pumpkin

Do you love to crochet and are looking for your next project? Get crafty with us in the studio Saturday, October 21st + November 4th to crochet this “gourdgeous” pumpkin by Adele Daisy Crochet!

This adorable pumpkin measures 3.5 inches in height by 5.5 inches in width. Perfect for festive home décor, this pumpkin will surely be your new favorite seasonal decoration. Once you finish your pumpkin by the conclusion of the second class, you'll have the confidence to make more at home in different sizes. 

Class will run as a two-week series. During the first class, students will learn to crochet the 'spike stitch' and begin making the body of the pumpkin.  Class will break for one week, during which time students should complete the pumpkin body at home to have ready for assembling in the last class.  In the second class students will make the stalk and stem, then stuff the pumpkin and learn how to put it all together.

This class is recommended for students who have completed our Crochet 101 class or have equivalent skill level. Students will have homework in between classes which will be assigned by the instructor after the first class.

 Required Materials:

- polyester fiberfill
- 200 yds of yarn (see below)

 Required Tools:
- 4.5 mm crochet hook (7)
- 3.5mm crochet hook (E)
- locking stitch marker
- tapestry needle

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hours in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
