bag series: haralson
Join Abbie for a fun Saturday in July to make Noodlehead's latest bag pattern- the Haralson.
The Haralson is a belt bag that is perfect for everyday use. Compact and easy to wear across the front or back of body. This makes the perfect belt bag for travel. The pattern has multiple flap hardware closure options, we will be teaching either the loxx fastener and the turn lock option.
The bag has a handy back zippered pocket which is the perfect size for your phone. It has a spacious interior with a zippered pocket inside.
Finished size: 9.5" wide by 2" deep, 7" tall.
Students must come to class with their fabric pieces already cut out. If you need assistance with cutting, please register for the Friday night cutting session prior to your class, register here.
Required Materials
- Noodlehead Haralson belt bag pattern, available here
- Exterior fabric (1) Fat quarter, recommended fabrics are quilt cotton, canvas or oil skin canvas, chambray or linen. We have a wide selection of fabric in the shop and our staff are more than happy to assist you with fabric selection.
- Lining fabric: 1/2 yd of (2/3yd for a directional print) quilting cotton.
- Accent fabric (flap)... FQ or 1/4 yd of faux leather, canvas or oil skin canvas.
- Fusible woven interfacing: 1 3/4yds of SF101 (not needed if using dry oil skin canvas)
- 1 1/2 yd of 1" wide cotton webbing or leather strapping
- (1) 6" zipper for interior pocket, and (1) 8" zipper for back pocket available here
- (2) 1" wide D-rings, available here
- (1) 1" wide strap slider, available here
- (2) 1" wide swivel snaps for strap hardware, available here

If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
