summer freebie - fringed tea towels

We are offering our loyal customers this fun and FREE class. This class will teach you how to create the perfect fringed summer tea towels for your home!
This class will be set up demo-style: first, we’ll demonstrate how to hem and fringe the towel, then you will pick out your fabric in the shop and get to make your very own towels! Students may want to wait until after demonstration at beginning of class to purchase their fabric.
This class is suitable for beginner sewists who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have equivalent basic sewing machine experience.
Required materials (must be purchased in the shop):
- (1) Studio M squared fringed tea towel pattern - will be available in the shop
- (1) spool of coordinating thread
Fabric Requirements:
- Main Fabric – 5/8 yd (you will have enough left over for a second towel if desired)
- Accent Fabric – ¼ yard OR (1) fat quarter
We suggest the following fabrics for this project:
- Main fabric – quilting cotton, linen, or linen blends
- Accent fabric – linen or linen blends that easily fray
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hrs in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy
