knitting series 301: cozy cable mittens

Join us in July to knit a cozy pair of cable mittens! Yes! We know it's Summer but now is the perfect time to learn how to knit up these cute mittens so that you have time to make them as gifts for the holidays! 

In class we will be making The Cozy Cable Mittens by Yankee Knitter Designs, these are simple chunky mittens with a horseshoe cable going up the front. They are knit in the round using the magic loop technique with a classic thumb gusset. The pattern comes in an adult regular size, but the size can be adjusted up or down with adjustment on the needle size used. 

This is a great first class to learn how to knit cables. This class is for our intermediate knitters who want to learn how to knit cables. Students need to be confident in the knit, purl and rib stitch. 

This class will be taught in the same session as the cable knit hat class. Good news though! - a second session has been added for those who are interested in creating both projects. The second session starts the following week after the conclusion of the first session.

Yarn must be purchased from our shop to ensure you have the correct materials for the class. 

You will need 85 yds of chunky yarn. We recommend Cascade Pacific Bulky, selection available to purchase here.

Please have yarn wound and ready to be knit with at the start of the class.

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot.  Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
