garments series: burnside bibs

The Burnside Bibs by Sew House Seven are versatile overalls that can be dressed up or down. They are so comfortable and easy to wear, yet so much more stylish and feminine than traditional overalls. The shoulder straps transition to narrow ties with several options for tying.

Come join us for two Sundays in June and leave with a super-fun summer garment and some new sewing skills!

The pattern includes two versions. Version 1 have a fitted back pant with back waist darts, invisible side zipper and a scooped neck bib front.
Version 2 (the sample we have in the shop) has a looser back pant that slips over your hips and does not have a closure to sew. It has a straight bib front.

Both versions of these super fun overalls feature a front waistband, curved front patch pockets, optional back pockets, and unique cross- back straps that transition to narrow ties that thread through back waist loops. The ties can be tied at the back or sides.

The wide pant legs come in cropped or full length versions.
