teen crochet 101: learn to crochet for age 12+ up

This class is for students aged 12 years and up. 

While knitting involves 2 needles, crochet is done with a hook held in one hand and can be picked up quite quickly.

During class students will learn the foundation stitches of single, double, half double and learn how to do front/back loop. 

During this six- week session you will be making a beautiful, crocheted scarf.  Not only will you have plenty of practice mastering the stitches you will also have your very own cozy scarf made by you! 

Students will be encouraged to work on their project a home between classes. 

Students will need to come to class with their materials purchased. Yarn must be bought from our shop to ensure you are using the right yarn for this beginner project.

- J crochet hook, available here

Cancellation Policy:

• You may receive a refund ONLY if we are notified in writing (via email – info@urbansewciety.com) at least SEVEN DAYS prior to the start date of the class/course, AND there is a waitlist for the class AND we are able to fill your child’s spot.   Absolutely no refunds will be provided unless these conditions are met.
• If we are notified in writing (via email – info@urbansewciety.com) at least SEVEN DAYS prior to the start date of the class/course, and we are unable to fill your spot, you will receive a store credit for the full registration amount.  This credit will expire 9 months from the date of issuance and is only good for class registrations, not retail product.
• If we are notified less than one week prior to the start date of the course/class, absolutely no refund or credit will be issued.
