bag series: the mondo quilted bag
This is such a versatile quilted bag..great for a weekend travel bag, diaper bag or even a super cute project bag!
The Mondo bag by Quiltsmart is an easy sew using a super smart technique with printed interfacing. You will sew this bag up in a jiffy and thanks to the pre-printed interfacing and your intersections will match effortlessly.
This class has a two week break between classes and there will be the need for homework between classes if students are doing to finish the bag by the end of the second session.
Required Materials
- Pattern with printed interfacing, Mondo bag by Quiltsmart, available here.
- Quilting cotton for exterior: Use a variety of fabrics for a true patchwork style. For easier cutting we recommend buying a 5" charm pack (42pc) or a jelly roll. We have a wide selection of these on our website or in store. Our staff are more than happy to help and advise with your fabric requirements and selections.
- Quilting cotton for bag lining- 1 1/4 yd.
- Fusible fleece - 1 1/4 yd, pattern recommends by Annie Soft and Stable. Available here. if you want a less structured feel we used fusible fleece on the sample in the shop, available here.
- (1) spool of thread
Required Tools:
- Rotary Cutter, cutting mat and ruler.
- Pins and/or wonder clips selection (available here)
- Chalk or friction pen
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hrs in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
