quilting 101 series: intro to patchwork + quilting
Interested in learning the basics of quilting without the pressure or commitment of making an entire quilt?
Try your hand at patchwork and quilting with our 2-week Intro to Patchwork class. During this quick, fun and manageable project, you will make an 18"x18" pillow that you can proudly dress up your favorite chair or gift to your best friend for the holidays.
In this class, students will learn the entire quilting process - making patchwork, adding borders, making a "quilt sandwich", quilting, binding, plus how to sew an envelope pillow backing. You'll fall in love with quilting and gain the skills and confidence you need to move on to our Quilting 101series.
Students must purchase a Homebody Pillow Kit for this class. Kits include all required materials, including fabrics pre-cut to the required sizes. Kits are available in several colorways - browse Project Kit selections here.
