quilting series: weekend rag quilt
The Weekend Rag Quilt is super - cute, comfy and great for gifting. And it's so quick and easy that you can make it in a weekend!
This is a great beginner quilting project or perfect for anyone looking for a quick finish with a big impact.
Available in multiple sizes: Crib 45” x 53 ” and Throw 53” x 68"
Required Materials:
- (1) Studio M Squared The Weekend Rag quilt pattern.
- (1) spool coordinating thread
- Quilt top (5 coordinating fabrics). Crib requires 1/2 yd each, Throw requires 3/4 yd each.
- Batting, 90" (228.6cm) wide batting. Crib requires 7/8 yd, Throw requires 1- 1/4 yd.
We will be offering pre-cut batting squares to save you time in class, please contact the shop for more information.
- Quilt back (1) fabric. Crib requires 2-1/8yd, Throw requires 3 yds
Recommended fabrics:
This pattern is written for use with quilting cotton, flannel or other lightweight woven fabric.
Required Tools:
- Rotary Cutter and Acrylic Ruler
- Pins
- Fabric scissors
- Marking tool - chalk or friction pen

If you are unable to attend, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, AND we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
