introduction to english paper piecing

English Paper piecing, referred to as EPP, is a form of quilt making which is sewn by hand. The technique involves stabilizing fabric pieces with paper before sewing them into intricate designs. Because EPP is done by hand, it makes a great on-the-go project.

Join guest instructor Marisa Simon for our English Paper Piecing workshop, students will learn all the basics of EPP and are introduced to the joys of stitching by hand. During class students will stitch a single hexagon flower and simple project ideas will be discussed.
