traverse quilt block of the month: month 1- flying geese
Join us in September for the start of our Traverse block of the month quilting series. This month we will be teaching the Flying Geese block. During class we will help you through the cutting and construction providing helpful hints and tips for the Flying Geese technique.
Month 1- fabric requirement:
- Fabric B: 1/4 yd
- Fabric K: 1/3 yd
- Fabric T: 3/8 yd
- Fabric X & Y: 1/2 yd
- Fabric BB: 1/3 yd
Required Tools:
- Pattern by Tara Faughnan (available here)
- Pins
- Rotary Cutter (available here) and Acrylic Ruler (available here)
- Marking tool, chalk or friction pen (available here)
- We highly recommend purchasing the Wing Clipper tool (will be available to purchase in the shop)
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email and there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
