sip and stitch: the 'completer'
Grab a drink, some friends, and come and join us for a fun Friday night, to make this gorgeous outfit 'completer'- just in time for summer!
Believe it or not, this sip n stitch class IS for newbies - it only looks complicated! (Yes - even if you're a beginner with the sewing machine, you just need to know the basics!) You will make and wear this home in one evening and amaze your friends that it is "me-made"!!!
The Completer is a simple but elegant garment that, when thrown over basics like jeans and a tee, “completes” your outfit. Sew it up in a pretty floral or animal print and then wear it over shorts and a tank top, or choose a more sheer fabric for a flowy beach cover up. The Completer works as an outfit-finisher for so many occasions. Features wide sleeves, a rounded front, and the perfect length for covering your ‘assets’!
Pattern includes three sizes, small/petite, regular, and large/xl (which fits up to a 54" bust measurement).
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics with good drape such as rayon, linen and linen blends, cotton lawn, crepe.
Required Materials:
The Completer - pattern by Studio M Squared.
Fabric (see above for recommendations): 3 yds of 44" wide fabric OR 2 yds of 50" wide fabric (or wider).
(1) spool of coordinating thread
We have a wide selection of fabric available to purchase in the shop. Our staff are more than happy to help with your fabric selection and yardage needs.
Please arrive to class on time, with all materials purchased. We highly recommend that you launder the fabric in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, you may receive a refund or credit for a future class ONLY if we are notified in writing via email at least 72 hours prior to the first class AND we are able to fill your spot. No other refunds or credits will be given for missed classes. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
