bag series: the parkview project bag
Do you ever wish your tote or project bag would just open up more so you can access everything that’s down in the bottom of it? The Parkview is a totally unique bag designed to do just that.
The split sides allow the top of the bag to open wider than a regular tote, and even fold down completely, converting the bag to a basket of sorts! Once folded, you can much more easily find what you need in the pockets and in the bottom of the bag.
Two sizes included – both are great for knitting or craft projects; large bag is also perfect for the pool or beach.
Approx. finished dimensions:
Small size: 15" wide at top, 10" wide at bottom, 13" tall, 5" deep
Large size: 19" wide at top, 12-1/2" wide at bottom, 16" tall, 7" deep
You MUST arrive to class with all of your fabrics cut out beforehand. If you are not confident doing this on your own, and prefer to cut your fabric under the supervision of an instructor, you can register for our Cutting Session which will be held on the Friday January 13th. Required Materials
- Pattern: Parkview by Studio M Squared - PDF download available here or booklet version here
- Main fabric: Quilting cotton or canvas (Sml, 5/8 yd, Lrg, 2/3 yd)
- Lining fabric: Quilting cotton (Sml, 5/8 yd, Lrg, 2/3 yd)
- Pocket fabric: Quilting cotton (Sml, 1/3 yd, Lrg, 1/2yd)
- Parkview bag kit, available in sml or lrg. (Contains Softn Stable Foam, Interfacing and magnetic snap)
- Handle: 1" or 1-1/2" wide cotton webbing, leather or faux leather. (Sml 1-1/2 yd, Lrg 1-3/4yd)
- 1/4" Cording (Sml 2-2/3yd, Lrg 3-1/3yd)
- (1) spool of thread
Required Tools:
- Rotary Cutter, cutting mat and ruler.
- Pins and/or wonder clips selection (available here)
- Chalk or friction pen
- Point turner
- Large safety pin
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us 72 hrs in advance in writing by email, there is a waitlist for the class, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 72 hrs in advance. By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
