garment series: linden sweatshirt

Join us for a Saturday making this simple Linden Sweatshirt by grainline studio. Featuring a scooped neckline and relaxed fit with two views, one with long sleeves with cuffs and falling mid-hip, the second with short sleeves and a high hip. Mix and match the sleeve and body lengths to create the perfect sweatshirt!

Required Materials:
- (1) Linden Sweatshirt pattern (available here)
- Fabric yardage is dependent on the size which student is making.  Suggested fabrics are medium-weight knits with a minimum of 20% stretch such as French terry, sweatshirt fleece, sweater knits, and jersey. Extra fabric might be required to match plaids, stripes or one-way print designs. Fabric used in the sample is French Terry Tie Dye available here 
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

Required Tools:
- Fabric scissors
- Pins and/or wonder clips
- seam ripper
- chalk or friction pen
- detail scissors

Students should attend the class with all materials purchased, we also recommend pre-washing your fabric for garment projects. 

This class is suitable for beginner sewists who have completed sewing 101 or similar level of experience. 

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, you may receive a refund or credit for a future class ONLY if we are notified in writing via email at least 72 hours prior to the first class AND we are able to fill your spot.  No other refunds or credits will be given for missed classes.  By registering for the class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
