bag series: on hand cork clutch
Come and join us for the afternoon and make this very cute cork clutch...a ready accessory for summer.
With a slip pocket and zipper with magnetic closure all your essentials will fit neatly and safely into this clutch. In addition to the cork detail, removable handle and a cute tassel, you can make this with the fabric of your choice to go with any outfit you might have planned. Learn how to work with cork material and install rivets!!
This class is suitable for all levels of sewists, although students should have completed our sewing 101 or have a similar level of experience as a minimum.
Required Materials:
1/3 yd canvas for exterior
1/3 yd quilting cotton for lining
1/2 yd fusible interfacing (we recommend Pellon 911)
(1) 7" metal zipper
(1) set 3/4" magnetic snap
(1) 1/2" rectangular ring
(1) 1/2"swivel hook
Cork, pattern and rivet will be provided within the cost of the class
Required Tools:
- Fabric scissors
- Pins and/or wonder clips
- seam ripper
- chalk or friction pen
- detail scissors
We have modified our classes to comply with the CDC guidelines and NJ Executive Order 152. Class sizes are limited, masks are required, and students are required to supply their own tools as identified in the tools list within the class description.
