quilting series: intro to patchwork and quilting

Interested in learning the basics of quilting without the pressure or commitment of making an entire bed-sized quilt? Try your hand at patchwork and quilting with a quick, fun, and manageable project; you’ll make a 12” x 12” trivet that you can proudly use in your kitchen or gift to a friend who loves to cook!

In this class, students will learn the entire quilting process in one day – making patchwork, adding borders, making a “quilt sandwich”, quilting, and binding.   You’ll fall in love with quilting and gain the skills and confidence you need to move on to a full-sized quilt.

Students must purchase a kit for this class.  Kits include all required materials, including fabrics pre-cut to the required sizes.  Kits are available in several colorways.
