weaving 101

Join us for a fun, creative afternoon learning the art of weaving!  This workshop is a 3-1/2 hour event that introduces beginners to frame looms, warping a loom, creating fringe, and two different types of stitches.  You'll also learn about types of yarn for weaving as well as how to remove a tapestry from the loom.

All materials for completing the tapestry (including yarn, wool, and copper pipe or driftwood for hanging) are included in the cost of the class.  Students will have a large selection of colors to choose from for their design.
