Let's get organized!  Join us for the fourth month of our Bag of the Month Series, featuring organizational patterns from 

Bag #4 is 'Project Bags'.  Great for organizing tools and project materials, these handy totes in four sizes have sturdy quilted bases and a see-through vinyl window.  Skills involved in making the Project Bag include basic patchwork, simple zipper installation, and binding. 

Students will need to have purchased the pattern, fabric, and other materials prior to class.  All fabrics MUST be cut to sizes indicated in pattern before class.  In addition, if you'd like the base of your bag to be quilted, you must do this before class as well.  We'll be making the large sized bag in class.  Finished dimensions are 13" x 13".  Materials needed are:

Main Fabric (base of bag):  One Fat Quarter
Lining Fabric (lining of bag):  One Fat Quarter
Contrasting Fabric (borders, handle, binding):  1/4 yard
Coordinating Fabrics (patchwork accent):  8 scraps
ByAnnie's Soft & Stable:  One 15" x 15" piece
Clear Vinyl:   This will be provided to you
Handbag Zipper:  16" or longer
1" Strapping:  1/3 yard, any color
Coordinating thread:  1 spool
